We are excited to introduce a transformative update to OpsAdvisor that redefines how you engage...
OpsAdvisor update v1.2
We are pleased to release V1.2 of OpsAdvisor with loads of UI enhancements and more: we are looking forward to them making your experience with OpsAdvisor even better.
New Features
Email capability
We have added in email capability for OpsAdvisor and with this now functional we have added a button on the login for forgot password recovery. The email capability also sets us up to be able to provide notifications for regular updates as well as helpful progress reminders which will be coming soon.
Enhancements
OpsAdvisor 1.2 brings a lot of UI enhancements including less page changes, reduced the clutter on the dashboard and business page, simplified and enhanced the improvement projects and found all of (we think) the places where the user might be wondering whether we are doing something in the background.
Some of the more noticeable changes include:
- The “Home” and “Capability Map” pages have been renamed “Dashboard” and “Business” to reflect the current and future usage more appropriately.
- Assessments are now conducted in a popup window rather than its own page which reduces the page transitions and button clicks to get back to where you were working.
- The Recommend page has been removed and recommendations are now conducted in a popup window. Not only does this reduce page changes and button clicks, as soon as you save the plan you will auto navigate to the improvement page where you can allocate improvement accountability and set dates immediately.
- The improvement card has been completely rebuilt simplifying and improving the functionality. We have rearranged the edit card and enabled updating the project status within the edit card. In the near future we will be enabling task based accountability for those that want it so the new layout prepares for that enhancement.
We think this has made the app much simpler and easier to use, and it looks nicer to.
Under the Hood
We have also done a some work under the hood to prepare for ongoing improvements to our AI including set up for agent based supervised learning.
Bug Fixes
-
Manually added improvements were unable to generate a step by step guide, this now works perfectly so you can not only put in your own improvements and tasks, but have OpsAdvisor build you a step by step guide to help with implementation.
